Privacy policy

1. What we collect

Depending on your role, PTGLOBALEDU may collect:

• Identity and contact: name, email, mobile, password (stored securely), and profile photo if you upload one.
• Campus context: school or college, city, grade or semester, degree details, and registration identifiers needed for eligibility.
• Contest activity: registrations, payments references, quiz attempts and answers, scores, ranks, uploads for creative contests, likes or shares on gallery pieces where enabled.
• Certificates: certificate metadata, verify codes, and campus assets (logo, signature, stamp) supplied by schools or colleges.
• Technical data: device or browser basics, logs needed for security, and cookies or similar storage required for signed-in sessions.

2. How we use data

We use personal data to:

• Create and secure accounts, verify OTP where enabled, and keep you signed in.
• Show contests you are eligible for, process registration and fees, and run quiz or upload workflows.
• Calculate scores and ranks, publish results when organisers release them, and issue certificates.
• Send transactional notices (OTP, registration, payment, result or certificate updates).
• Improve Platform reliability, prevent abuse, and answer support requests.

3. Contest and result data

Contest pages, leaderboards, winners lists, galleries, and certificates may display your name, campus, category, score, rank, or artwork as required by that contest’s design.

• Public leaderboards and galleries are visible to other Platform visitors when the contest enables them.
• Organisers and authorised campus staff may see participation needed to run the programme.
• We do not sell contest result data. Marketing use beyond Platform operations requires a separate lawful basis or consent where required.

4. Sharing

We may share necessary data with:

• Your linked school or college for campus programmes and certificate branding.
• Payment providers that process contest or event fees.
• Hosting, email, and similar service providers that support the Platform under appropriate controls.
• Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention and security

We keep account and participation records for as long as needed to run contests, handle disputes, meet legal duties, and maintain certificate verify history, then delete or anonymise where practicable.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. Use a strong unique password and do not share OTP codes.

6. Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data, subject to legal and operational limits (for example, we may retain payment or certificate records required for audit).

Raise a request through Contact using the email on your account.

7. Students and children

School students may use the Platform with appropriate school or guardian oversight. Schools registering cohorts are responsible for obtaining any consents required for their students to participate in contests and appear on ranks or certificates.

8. Updates and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do.
